From as young as 3 years, your child can discover the world of Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre with specialist teachers trained to specifically work with this age group.
Within these classes children will begin to explore creative movement qualities, musicality and coordination with work on poise, posture, confidence and speech. These will all be explored in a fun and creative way allowing the children to be expressive and imaginative.
Other fun class activities include rhythm exercises, dressing up, improvisation, confidence building, show and tell, storytelling, emotional expressions and much more besides.
Colourful worksheets and achievement stickers help motivate the child to finish each ‘world’ and love what they learn!
You will get the opportunity to regularly see your child perform both on stage in their own show at the theatre and within end of term class presentations.
Every child is made to feel like a star from their individual headshot experience to their own costume and more!
Rising Stars
90 minute sessions
Singing classes primarily focus on musical theatre songs and techniques, however children will also study a wide range of styles from classical to pop as this enables them to fully understand their voice and how it can be used in a variety of different ways.
An ideal introduction to all areas of the Performing Arts with emphasis placed on having lots of fun whilst learning the foundations of Musical Theatre and Performance Techniques. For ages 4-5 (School Years Reception to Year 1), these are high energy classes taught by specialist teachers trained to specifically work with this age group. This gives the children an excellent introduction to Musical Theatre in Drama, Song and Dance.
Within these classes children will be introduced to Drama, Dance and Vocal techniques with work on creative movement qualities, coordination, poise, posture, confidence building and speech. These will all be explored in a fun and creative way allowing the children to be expressive and imaginative.
Class sizes are kept in line with Ofsted regulations in order to ensure EVERY child receives the focus and individual nurturing they require. All teachers are regularly DBS checked and First Aid trained for complete peace of mind.
Pupils will learn songs, routines and scripts from popular musicals and films in order to enhance performance and memory skills. Our syllabus comprises of different ‘worlds’ – well known adventures topics which are also shared with parents online so that those rainy afternoons can hopefully offer a little practice window for you both!

Shining Stars

Once our Early Stage students reach year 2 at school, they are ready to embark onto our Foundation framework.
Already accustomed to the programme of learning in a fun yet educational way – they can now really begin to comprehend the skills they need to develop their performances and share their characters and emotions with an audience.
Continuing their imaginative journey, the child’s skills are fast developing both physically and mentally. They are developing new social skills too and understanding how to work as part of a team as well as on their own.
Technique is a key aspect at this higher level and our instructors will begin to develop routines to test the children in their speech, poise and of course, performance delivery.
Foundation is the highest echelon of Early Stages before the next level – Main Stages, where they’ll spend 3 hours with 3 different specialist teachers in each discipline.
Now at the top of the Early Stages, Foundation students get the opportunity to lead the shows and demonstrate to the audience what they can really do.
Over the past few years they have grown accustomed to the bright lights and can now perform their routines with confidence and panache. They can’t wait to ‘Take the Stage!’
