At Swish we believe that every child has the opportunity to reach their potential using the performing arts to develop life long skills and talents.

For over 30 years, we’ve been delivering carefully structured classes, captivating shows and locally tailored opportunities. Using only dedicated professionals, we are passionate about guiding children and young people along an exciting journey where they can fulfil their dreams.

We want every child at Swish not only to discover their brilliance but also to shine as brightly as a star in their own right!

Hi – I’m Caryl and I’m the Principal here at Swish Bournemouth North!

Together with my wonderful team and my husband Gordon, we’re here to help your children shine, grow in confidence, and thrive in their Performing Arts journey.

I began my own journey as a Swish student, before gaining a place at Redroofs Theatre School, where I achieved a diploma in Musical Theatre. I have performed professionally in theatre, film, and voice acting, I’ve now been part of the Swish family for over 10 years and currently our Early Stages coordinator as well as overseeing wardrobe and props for our productions.

Performing arts has always been a huge part of my life, and I feel incredibly lucky to now inspire the next generation of performers here at Swish Bournemouth North. Watching our students grow in confidence and creativity each week is truly the best part of my job!
